EM Architects.

EM Architects were entrusted with the architectural and structural design for the restoration of an existing townhouse. This project required a great attention to detail so as to respect the townhouse’s existing layout and produce a design which reflect the history of this example of traditional maltese architecture, in both architectural as well as interior design. The main interventions included the extension of the building, consisting in the realization of a floor over the kitchen and dining room located at the ground floor. Access was designed to the extension through a bespoke timber staircase
