EM Offices

Here, EM Architects completed the interior design for their own architectural offices. Circulation for both staff as well as visitors, light, ventilation and orientation were important factors within the offices design. The building is an oasis of daylight and inspiring vistas through its uninterrupted horizontal windows. The homey feeling within the informal staff spaces juxtapose the work areas which are calmly zoned with a white colour scheme presenting a soothing and peaceful atmosphere to inspire concentrated work. Carefully designed interior and exterior vegetation creates a welcoming environment which contrasts with the cool grey flooring. We feel that the importance of a pleasing work environment cannot never be underestimated, and a variety of spaces are required to promote movement throughout the day!
