EM Architects were entrusted with the design of the new Malta International Airport masterplan. A Planning Authority permit has been successfully obtained for this airport extension, which will include an extension of the current airport terminal as well as three new additional Skyparks blocks. Most importantly, EM Architect's design provides a considerable increase in parking spaces. The new blocks as well as the new car parking spaces have been designed so as to benefit pedestrian as well as vehicular circulation within the airport grounds.
