The Palace of the Captain-General of the Galleys situated along the Cottonera Waterfront had been expertly restored and converted into a world-class casino through the design of EM Architects.
The conversion of the palace into a full-scale casino was done with the utmost respect for the historical value of the building, and in such a way as to fully exploit the internal spatial and architectural qualities of the edifice without excessively altering its internal and external appearance. The regeneration of the palace and the success experienced by the Casino greatly contributed to the regeneration of the Cottonera Waterfront and has acted as a very important catalyst in the positive redevelopment of the remaining buildings along the promenade.
